Roberto Tinoco, Assistant Professor, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry

Dr. Tinoco received a B.S. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine and Ph.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego. He was a postdoctoral fellow and research assistant professor before he became an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on the mechanisms of T cell exhaustion during chronic viral infection and cancer.
